Canstruction 2017

Canstruction is a unique charity art exhibition featuring structures made made entirely out of full cans of food. Recently, our firm participated in the Louisville Chapter’s compeition along with eight other teams. At the end of the exhibition, all food is donated to the area’s Dare to Care food bank.

We all know Cookie monster is no stranger to hunger. This year, our team constructed a six-foot replica of the Seasame Street character to raise awareness and create an impact with our local families who are food insecure. The structure was built out of 3,500 cans of tuna in about three hours. (Check out the TIMELAPSE of our structure). By donating cans of food to the Dare to Care Food Bank, our team hoped to take a “bite” out of our community’s needs and inspire others to do the same.
