Norton Cancer Institute breaks ground on $38 Million facility

Norton Healthcare will invest an additional $38 million in cancer care, building a new comprehensive center in northeastern Jefferson County that will focus on the unique needs of the region’s cancer patients and their families. Norton Cancer Institute – Brownsboro will be a freestanding, three-story structure located at 4955 Norton Healthcare Blvd., across from Norton Brownsboro Hospital.

On Wednesday, June 07, Norton Healthcare leadership and staff, along with city officials, cancer survivors and project teams celebrated the ground breaking of the nearly 49,000 SF Facility.  During the event, attendees placed thier handprints and inspirational messages into a large concrete Norton Logo, which will later be used in the facility’s landscaping.

As part of the event, TEG’s 3D studio produced a virtual reality experience for attendees to view 360-degree environments of the future facility’s interior.
