Orcutt | Winslow and TEG Architects join together to leverage capacity and market expansion
Phoenix, March 16, 2022 — National architectural design firm, Orcutt | WInslow is pleased to announce the integration of TEG Architects (TEG). An architecture, interior design, and planning firm with a 50-year history of design leadership across the Southwest and Southeast, Orcutt | Winslow brings a seasoned team of experienced architects and designers together with TEG to broaden the firm’s national platform.
“We believe that as we offer more, together, it will enable us to more powerfully impact our communities,” Orcutt | Winslow Managing Partner, Erik Clinite, said. “This strategic growth expands our healthcare and higher education leadership to include more benefits, more capacity, more experiences, and more personality.”
“We are known as architecture and interior design firms, strong in our regions, but we believe what we actually produce are transformative experiences in the communities we serve. This powerful integration of culture and talent gives our clients, present and future, the creative resources of 150+ design professionals.”
This integration of talent and resources will bring expanded expertise in healthcare, K-12 / higher education, and senior living market segments, and will add additional institutional knowledge out of a Kentuckiana Metro hub. Together, the expanded capabilities will strengthen relationships within the local and national communities to provide a greater depth of offerings and help mitigate some of the challenges related to labor shortages.
“While we are very proud of the 50-year history of our firm, we also recognized that the next step for our team and clients is to build on a portfolio that will add even more value to our network and enable us to expand the value-based services that we offer,” said Orcutt | Winslow Managing Partner, Carl Nelson. “TEG shares a passion for healthcare design and serving our clients one person at a time while growing relationships that are stronger than just one project. This expansion broadens and deepens our existing industry specializations, enabling us to offer more comprehensive services tailored to our clients.”
In the area of healthcare, TEG has long held a prominent position as a national industry leader in master planning and design. TEG and Orcutt | Winslow both have long histories of design excellence and leadership in the health and wellness markets as well as K-12 and higher education, senior living, and Veteran Home design.
“We look forward to introducing our clients, present and future, to a firm guided by client and community-centric values and innovative design as we continue to maintain the strong reputations that have differentiated Orcutt | Winslow and TEG independently,” said partner, Thresa Estopinal. The firm will use its growth to fulfill and preserve the legacy of its founders, Wayne Estopinal (TEG 1989) and Herman Orcutt/Paul Winslow (Orcutt | Winslow 1971). “Loyalty, longevity, and leadership in the succession of the next generation of ownership was a priority to our founders, so we want to honor their legacies in our regions and continue their pioneering spirits.”
“We are very excited for this new structure,” Estopinal said. “Through this combination, we have created a unique strategic opportunity by combining TEG’s multiple years of expertise in Southern Indiana and Metro Louisville with Orcutt | Winslow’s expansive capabilities in some of the markets we have not been known to serve. We will remain focused on our customers and will strengthen and build on our offerings to deliver even greater value.”
Formed in 1971, Orcutt | Winslow is a State and Region AIA Firm of the Year, one of the largest architecture firms in the Southwest, and ranked in the top 100 healthcare firms in the U.S. specializing in sustainable design within a portfolio of work that has resulted in nearly $20 billion in construction.
