Louisville, KY – TEG Architects, an architectural, planning, 3D visualization and interior design firm, announces the addition of several architectural staff, corporate pilots and interior design staff members.  In addition, the firm would like to welcome its newest architectural intern.

Brad J. Becherer
Associate – Construction Administration
Brad graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2011 with his Bachelors in Architecture. Throughout his career, he’s had an active role in the design, quality control process, and the construction of various residential and commercial buildings. He has developed systematic knowledge to better manage the RFI & submittal processes to help maintain any project budget and schedule.

Brad previously worked for Thorntons Inc., as Design Project Manager, where he was responsible for managing the design criteria for the company’s building prototype. Along with his on-site project management experience, he has developed a knack for following project specifications and researching various value engineering opportunities; both small and large scale. He is currently enrolled at the University of Louisville working toward his PMP certification.

His focus on quality and service is an excellent addition to the firm. The firm prides itself on delivering these elements on every project, no matter the scale.

David B. Berry
Associate – Architecture
With past health care, educational and retail design experience, David Berry brings a wealth of knowledge and excellent design quality to the TEG architectural team.  He has developed a broad understanding of the overall process from concept to construction administration.  His past project experience includes new builds and renovations at Columbus Regional Hospital, Franciscan Health, St. Francis of Hammond and City of Chicago Schools.

David is a graduate of the University of Kentucky School of Design.  He is originally from the Louisville, Kentucky area and enjoys softball, biking and traveling.

Michael Vollmer

Michael, and experienced senior-level pilot/mechanic, joins TEG to serve the firm’s aviation needs. His past experience includes more than 30 years in the U.S. Air Force specializing in aviation operations, maintenance and logistics. Anna joins the firm to provide support for our interior design team.  She will assist in developing interior finish presentations and provide detailed AutoCAD support. She is currently attending Ivy Tech Community College and will complete her degree in Design Technology later this year.

Margaret E. Woolf
Architectural Intern
Margaret is a recent graduate of Miami of Ohio University who plans to attend graduate school after completing her internship with TEG. She gained interest in TEG due to the health care specialization the firm prides itself in.

“This will be my first internship, and I am excited for what the year will hold because many of my family members have worked within health care roles. I know the buildings TEG creates affect the wellbeing of all people who work and get care in our buildings.”

Her architectural interests include exploring future trends in sustainable and net zero design. She recently became CPHC certified, which is a building science curriculum that deals with super insulated buildings.
