TEG announces new staff and promotion of senior-level architect

TEG is pleased to announce the upcoming ground breaking of a 39,000 square foot addition, renovation and parking lot expansion for Highland District Hospital – a health care facility located in Hillsboro, Ohio. TEG is working in collaboration with Pepper Construction and Cincinnati-based Megen Construction to successfully complete the project.
“Jessica is an incredible success story both personally and professionally. She has become an exceptional creative architect focused on one of the most difficult building types.”
– Wayne Estopinal, president, TEG Architects
TEG is also delighted to announce the addition of three new staff members. Tyler Kennedy and Edwin Murillo join the firm as architectural interns. The firm also welcomes Tisha Briles, a new receptionist at the Jeffersonville headquarters.
Tyler D. Kennedy
Architectural Intern
Tyler Kennedy is a senior attending Ball State College of Architecture and Planning who has joined the firm as an architectural intern for the summer. He enjoys studying and practicing sustainable practices as well as stretching the limits of structure and materials in architecture. He plans to immediately attend graduate school to obtain his Masters in Architecture. Tyler also enjoys serving the community through involvement at the Girls Club of America.
“TEG offers an extremely accommodating and well-rounded intern experience that immerses the interns in all parts of design and production, and that is what drew me to TEG.”
Edwin Murillo
Architectural Intern
Edwin is a recent graduate of Ball State University College of Architecture and Planning. He will join TEG for an entire year as an architectural intern before returning to graduate school. He is interested in obtaining a Masters in Architecture from Ball State and attending the MUD (Masters in Urban Design) in Indianapolis.
Edwin involves himself in the community by attending Red Cross blood drives, helping with the Buddy Walk (supports families who have children with Down Syndrome), and the yearly Breast Cancer Walk in Louisville.
Through his previous job experience and familiarity with the area, Edwin was aware of TEG’s work and the level of involvement the internship program offers. “[At TEG] I will be able to receive an all-around work experience and that’s what drew me to the firm,” stated Edwin.
Tisha Briles
Associate – Corporate Support
Tisha joins TEG’s Jeffersonville headquarters as a receptionist and to provide additional business office support. She enjoys spending time outdoors, being crafty and cheering on the IU basketball team with her family. Her son keeps them busy at the basketball court, track and cross country meets and the wrestling room. Tisha states she lives “a simple life in a small country town and enjoys every minute of it.”
