Trager Transplant Center expands services, unveils relocated facility

Louisville, KY – KentuckyOne recently unveiled a $3 million, 18,000 SF project to expand services and relocate the Trager Transplant Center from Jewish Hospital to the third floor of the adjacent Frazier Rehab Institute building. Construction began in January and the facility began seeing patients in the new center in late July.

“Supporting and expanding the work of our transplant team right here can help save these lives. Organ transplantation is about overcoming diseases for which there seems to be no hope.”

– Joe Gilene, president of Jewish Hospital and KentuckyOne’s downtown Louisville market

The newly renovated office and clinical space includes 16 exam rooms, 4 consult rooms, patient waiting area as well as administrative space to accommodate 60-65 support staff members.  Previously, the center contained six exams rooms and administrative space within a 10,000 SF area.
